Workshops from the 6/23 crop

In case you wanted to look back at any of our workshops I am posting them below.  You can contact the consultants if you have any questions.

Close To My Heart

My Close To My Heart layout will be made using one of our new paper packs!  I will have the layout available in yellow, pink or blue so you can customize your layout to fit your pictures.  You can also choose the title if you would like something other than "sister".  You can choose a generic "son"/"daughter"/"father"/"aunt" or you can let me know a specific name!  The stamped caption under the title reads "YOU mean the WORLD to me".  The yellow layout above shows our Pemberly papers.  The pink layout will use our Lucy paper pack and blue will use Superhero!

The technique I will teach is how to use a sponge and texture tools to create your background paper.  The pieces will be cut from our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

You will not want to miss this class!  Sign up today to reserve your space!

Do you wish you could get more pages done?  Sign up for my Kit Club!  Stop by my booth at the crop to find out more about my kit club, workshops in your home and my monthly workshop to get more of your pictures and memories in your photo albums!

And don't forget to check out my blog at http://www.gatheringmemories.blogspot.com/ to learn more about my business and to see other workshops I offer.

Minerva Mosiacs

Minerva Mosaics is offering a beginning Mosaic Moments class where students learn the basic Mosaic Moments page layout system techniques – including measuring and cutting to fit the grid, photo taking and other tips. The class includes all papers and photos to complete two 12” x 12” pages.  However, if you wish to bring your own Fourth of July photos, I would strongly encourage you to do so.  If you have your own pictures, I can show you the advanced matting technique used to frame the center picture on the left-hand side.  Further, if you bring the photographs so that you can finish your page while at the crop, I am offering some prize drawings!  Students will gain valuable hands-on experience, and will leave the class feeling confident in using the Mosaic Moments system and inspired to create fabulous pages. You will be amazed at how easy the grid system is to use and how creating these great pages takes far less time than you could have ever imagined.

Supplies Provided to Each Student:
            ·  The Mosaic Moments 14” x 14” craft mat
            ·  Photos
            ·  Mosaic Moments Grid Papers
            ·  Cornerstones for embellishing pages
            ·  Paper Tiles and cardstock
            ·  Lil Chizler tool
            ·  Mosaic Moments Quick Glance Guide
Note: If you already have the Mosaic Moments 14”x14” craft mat, bring and use in class instead of the provided mat and receive a $20 credit to spend at the Minerva Mosaics table.
Student supplies needed:
            ·  Herma Dotto REMOVABLE adhesive
            ·  12” or 15” metal ruler with cork or rubber backing
            ·  A good quality craft knife or rotary cutter with sharp blade.
Note: I plan to have only a limited number of each of these items available for sale at the crop so please notify me in advance if you wish to purchase same.

Stampin' Up!

I do the work, you get the oohs & aahs!

I will be featuring 2 Stampin’ Up Card Classes at the crop morning and afternoon. I design the cards, cut the supplies and assemble into kits.  You stamp and assemble the cards.  The lucky recipients will be wowed with your artistic talent.  You save money over what you would pay for store bought cards.

What does it cost and what kind of cards are we going to make.

Class participants will make 10 cards for $15.00. There will be two each of 5 designs.  We will make 5 birthday cards. The cards at the top are the designs we will be making.  Please visit my website edith.stampinup.net for information about my business and to see samples of other projects.
If for some reason you cannot make your cards, I will make them for you for an additional $5.00 fee.

Please bring your favorite adhesive and scissors to class."
